The Home of Soul
Since 2007 I have designed houses, villas and hotels. When a project was finished, people rarely said what a beautiful room. They said: I feel at home here. I can finally land.
I wanted to understand why. That question led me into psychology, into a registered training as a professional coach, and eventually into this programme.
Come home to your home.
And to yourself
Most homes are designed to look beautiful. Very few are designed to support the human being living inside them.
The Home of Soul is an 8-week journey where you design your home from the inside out — so your space supports your life, your rhythm, and who you are becoming.
Your home is shaping your nervous system every day.
“In a world where some designers impose their own will, Mariska was a breath of fresh air. Her openness and kindness gave me confidence and resulted in a home that not only looks beautiful but truly feels like us.”

Your home is your nervous system outside your body
Everything in your environment speaks to your body, all day long. Light. Colour. Material. Flow. Space. Objects.
Your nervous system responds to your home before your mind even notices.
An 8-week Design journey
The Home of Soul is not a styling course. It is not about copying trends or creating a perfect Pinterest home. It is a step-by-step journey in which you become the conscious designer of your own home.
Eight weeks. Eight themes — Vision, Architecture, Colour, Material, Light, Flow, Expression, Integration. And eleven rooms to walk through, from the entrance to the attic.
A few hours a week. An investment in your home and in yourself.
In their own words
“Now, we walk around our home with huge grins on our faces every day simply because it feels so wonderful. Whether we are going to sleep, waking up, lounging, cooking or bathing. Everything is just as it should be.”
— Client, Dune Villa“The end result? A beautiful home where coming together truly takes center stage. It was clear that great care was taken to create a place where our family feels completely at home.”
