HOW I WORK
I have been designing houses, villas and hotels since 2007. In that time I have learned that the plan on paper is rarely the difficult part. The difficult part is finding out what someone actually needs — which is seldom the same as what they first ask for.
So I begin with a conversation, not a floor plan.
I want to know how you live, what your days look like, which room you avoid and which one you keep returning to. Only then do I start to draw.
‘Yume’ means ‘dream’ in Japanese. I chose the name because the work I care about is not decoration. It is taking something someone can barely put into words, and making it a place they can walk into.
Design, done well, is not a look. It is a way of living.
Every project aims for the same thing: serenity, elegance, and a house that is genuinely attuned to the person living in it — and to the light, the landscape and the season around it.

Bespoke interior design — complete houses, villas and boutique hotels, designed around your life rather than around a trend.
Harmonious exterior design — from the layout of the plot to the architecture itself, so that the building belongs where it stands.
Exclusive product design — interior and outdoor pieces for established brands, each carrying my own signature.

HOW I WORK, STEP BY STEP
One — the conversation. We begin with a personal conversation about the atmosphere you are after and the feeling you want the house to give you. Your story is the brief.
Two — the design. I translate what I have heard into a design that balances beauty, function and budget.
Three — refinement. You respond, I adjust. We keep going until it is right, not until it is finished.
Four — working together. Your input shapes the result the whole way through. I design for you, not at you.
Five — realisation and styling. After the technical review I bring the design to life on site, down to the last detail — because the details are what you keep feeling long after the work is done.
