High above the coastal landscape, Ocean View penthouse offers a serene retreat where every morning begins with an endless horizon over the sea. Set in a peaceful and elevated location, this residence is crafted for those who desire both luxury and tranquillity, inviting its residents to experience the stunning beauty of nature in a private, refined setting.

The design

Entering Ocean View, you are welcomed into an open, light-filled space that frames the captivating seascape. The central living area, with expansive windows, seamlessly connects the indoors with the natural coastal panorama. Designed for relaxation and connection, this space flows into a sophisticated kitchen and dining area, perfect for intimate meals or entertaining guests against the serene backdrop of the sea.

The master bedroom, with its sweeping ocean views, offers a tranquil haven. An adjoining spa-inspired bathroom features a sauna, a custom-built vanity, and a red-light shower, blending luxury with wellness in a personal sanctuary.

Throughout Ocean View, art takes centre stage. This project celebrates a curated collection of artwork from both emerging and established artists, adding depth and a unique narrative to each room. Every piece was thoughtfully chosen to enhance the space, creating a seamless flow of beauty and creativity that resonates with the timeless elegance of the penthouse.

Colours and materials

Inspired by the subtle hues of the ocean and coastline, the interior colour palette reflects sandy beige, warm taupe, and soft, earthy greens. Materials such as reclaimed wood, textured stone, and fine linen bring the natural surroundings indoors, complemented by custom woodwork in warm brown tones and polished travertine accents. Each space is designed to evoke a sense of calm, enhanced by carefully placed lighting that emphasises the warm ambience of the penthouse.

A horizon needs a room that can carry it.

In my own words

This high above the coast, the temptation is to let the view do everything. Most of my work here was giving the eye something to rest on first: a texture, a warm stone, a low table. Without that, even a horizon like this turns into wallpaper.
