Luxury is not only what you see, but also what you feel

As an interior designer I believe that spaces can shape our wellbeing.

My work is known for its sense of harmony, and for the feeling of home it carries. Every interior we create should feel like a warm blanket: something that brings good energy into the house. For me it happens by itself. It is an intuitive process.

People often ask me: how do you do that? It set me thinking. It is strange how hard it can be to explain something that comes easily. So I took the time to look at my own approach, and to put it into words.

A coherent whole. I always see a space as one thing, not a collection of parts. Every element — colour, material, light, sound — contributes to the same whole. It goes further than visual appeal: it has to meet the emotional needs of the people living there. In luxury design that means attention to detail, honest materials, and a design that genuinely fits how someone lives.

Serene simplicity. Calm and a respect for natural elements are what create a luxurious atmosphere. I believe in the beauty of imperfection and of restraint. That means daring to leave empty space, and treating every object as a work of art in its own right.

Luxury goes further than surface splendour.

Deeper than aesthetics. It is about creating an experience that supports comfort, health and wellbeing. A luxurious space should not only be beautiful to look at; it should be a refuge that settles your senses and gives you energy back.

Natural materials. Our designs rely on natural, durable materials. They create a healthy environment and bring a sense of authenticity and timelessness: solid wood, natural stone, organic fabrics. We look closely at where our materials come from, and make choices that are both beautiful and responsible.

Technology and craft. Our designs combine technological innovation with traditional craftsmanship. Smart systems add comfort and ease; handwork gives a space something that cannot be repeated. A bespoke piece made by hand, alongside a system that quietly optimises light and atmosphere.

Spaces with meaning. I believe in personal design. Every design is tuned to the person who will live there, which is what makes a space feel truthful rather than styled. That level of personalisation outlasts trends. It creates environments that resonate with someone’s identity and life.

A holistic approach to luxury design is simply how I work. It is about creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but that encourage a deep inner calm. In a world where health, sustainability and personal connection matter more and more, this way of designing offers a path to a life that feels fuller.

Luxury is not only what you see, but also what you feel. For me, that is the true essence of design.
